Because of a
reporting error, The Palm Beach Post on Wednesday incorrectly reported
that the Albany, N.Y., district attorney's office had identified
Signature Pharmacy in Orlando and MedX Life of Davie, run by Delray
Beach residents Brian Schafler and Greg Trotta, as the source of
steroids found in the home of wrestler Chris Benoit, who killed his
wife, his son and himself over the weekend. Heather Streeter Orth, a
spokeswoman for Albany District Attorney David Soares, said Thursday,
"At no point did we confirm steroids were found from Signature or MedX.
... We are not involved in the Benoit investigation. ... We were not
trying to connect drugs found at the scene to our investigation." The
story appeared on the front page.
