On 14 February 2007, details of new superannuation rules were reported in "The Age". Although it was stated that "anyone" could take advantage of the new super rules, in fact, it should have been specified that people over 75 are excluded, and between the ages of 65 and 74, anyone who wishes to make use of the rules must have worked 40 hours during 30 consecutive days of the financial year.
