A recipe for doggie disaster

Feb. 15----A column on Page 20 of the Feb. 8 Foothills Star included a recipe for dog food containing onion. According to Michael Lent, president of the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, "onions are considered to be potentially toxic" to dogs and should not be fed to them in any amount. The recipe also said garlic is an option. Lent said garlic is also potentially toxic to dogs. Link
