Yesterday's front page article about the Commonwealth Games
closing ceremony should have quoted Commonwealth Games Federation
president Mike Fennell as saying ''Melbourne, you are simply the
best''. The article should also have read ''and the duck was back''
rather than stating the duck was ''nowhere to be seen''. The omissions
were the result of an inadvertent error in the production process.
Readers shouldn't have to go find the original article to understand what the heck the correction is about.
