In early editions of yesterday's paper the introductory subheading was missing on the news feature headlined Coca farmer turned outcasts' saviour trails new beginning for Bolivia, page 23. An incomplete page had been sent to the printer in error and what remained at the top of the article was a template containing a set of instructions setting out the style of the standfirst.
We were unintentionally unkind to Hilary Armstrong, Labour's chief whip, in saying that she is almost twice the age of David Cameron (Tories hail leader after Commons tussle with Blair, page 4, yesterday). He is 39, she is 60, which is not almost 78.
