In a Page 1 story Sunday about
overtime expenditures in Cook County, a word was incorrectly
substituted in a quote from John Karebian, associate director of labor
relations for the Illinois Nurses Association. The corrected sentence:
"They're not doing it for the money, they're doing it because somebody
has to pick up those shifts." The incorrect word was "chips" instead of
"shifts."
