We see a lot of obituary-related corrections on a daily basis. Here's a rather unfortunate one from The Guardian:
In our obituary of Frank Shelley (page 29, December 9) we said he is survived by his former wife, Susan Dowdall. Ms Dowdall died in 2001. Apologies for any distress caused to family or friends.
